Eryaman Okyanus Koleji İlkokul Kademesi 1. sınıf öğrencileri oryantasyon haftasında Native öğretmenleriyle tanıştılar. Öğretmen öğrencilere “what is your name?” sorusu yöneltti ardından renk flashcardlarını öğrencilere tanıttı. Öğretmenin öğrencilere “what colour is this?” sorusuyla renkleri pekiştirdiler. Ardından öğretmen flashcardları sınıfın farklı yerlerine yerleştirerek seçtiği öğrenciden söylediği rengi bulmasını istedi. Böylelikle öğrenciler “what colour is this?” sorusunu tanıdılar.
Eryaman Okyanus College 1st graders met with their native teacher. The teacher came to the class with the colored flashcards. First, the teacher asked the names to each of the students. The teacher thought how to reply to the question ‘’ what’s your name?’’. After that, she showed the blue flashcard and asked the whole class ‘’what color is this?’’ to remind them of the color subject. Then teacher put the colored flashcards to different places of the classroom. The students rose their hands and the teacher picked one student up to find the color in the classroom that the teacher said. The game went on when all the students played. By this activity, the students were able to identify colors in English and learnt the ‘’What color is this?’’ structure.
